Abstract

The device includes a control lever (1) and push-button for moving a figure on a video screen. The linear movements of the lever are slowed down by a double effect oil damper (7). La présence en particulier des inconvénients illustrés limite considérablement l'application de commandes de ce genre sur des appareils où l'usager doit exécuter en même temps les mouvements de déplacement et de rotation de deux figures sur l'écran, tout en devant appuyer sur un ou deux poussoirs pour les mouvements accessoires. Le but de cette invention est l'élimination des inconvénients indiqués plus haut, grâce à la réalisation d' une commande à cloche à l'aide de laquelle on peut, en actionnant d'une seule main le levier, opérer avec les possibilités suivantes:

  • 1) effectuer les déplacements voulus de la figure; en un point quelconque de la visionneuse, de façon proportionnelle et graduelle, avec ample déplacement du levier.
  • 2) déplacer la figure sur l'écran, à une vitesse proportionnelle à l'effort imparti au levier et à une vitesse maximum tarée.
  • 3) effectuer la rotation de la figure en tournant le levier; la figure suit la vitesse de rotation du levier.
  • 4) occuper physiquement l'opérateur par l'application de freins sur le levier (amortisseurs) qui agissent dans tous les sens de déplacement; ces dispositifs ralentissent en outre le mouvement de la figure sur l'écran.
  • 5) agir sur le pommeau central du levier, même simultanément au déplacement et à la rotation, pour actionner un mouve- ment accessoire.

  • 5) act on the central lever knob, even simultaneously with the displacement and rotation, for actuating a move - ment accessory.
