Placidochromis sp. ‘phenochilus tanzania’

As the fish ages, more and more scales change color to a silver spot on the blue background. This gives the male a silver spotted pattern, which is attractive to see in the aquarium. Mutual skirmishes also occur with this species, but they are so gentle that damage never occurs. It is not a very assertive species, so it is best not to keep it together with very dominant large species.
