The Golden Foxtail Grass (Alopecurus pratensis 'Aureovariegatus) has green and yellow marginated blades. Its lovely golden seed spikes emerge in the middle of the spring. Slow runner but fast grower, the golden meadow foxtail will reach maturity rapidly and remain very easy to control. As its leaves will grow early in the spring, it makes a great addition planted with spring bulbs or in container.
