Cynotilapia zebroides "Cobue" (Orange Back Afra) 1.5-2.5 inch

Scientific Name: Cynotilapia afra (Cobue) called orange back afra or afra edwardi. This is a beautiful fish, the males sport a splash of orange across the back and dorsal fin. The females are not so striking but are tolerable. This is an omnivore from the rocky caves of Cobue, Mozambique. These fish will appreciate some caves and rock work in the aquarium. This omnivore does well with the Red Zebra Stampede , augmented with the Hippocampus Green to provide the spriulina and plant material so vital for mbuna health. They also appreciate the addition of a quality aquarium or Cichlid Salt at the rate of 1 teaspoon per gallon of water.
