Description
English: Top blossoms of an Oenothera sp. (evening primrose).
Location: Dortmund, Germany. Total height of plant approx. 1,50 meters, of which this crop shows approx. 25 cm. Various phases of blossom development shown: from elongated buds to full bloom and finally reduced to a largely withered state. The intense yellow colouring is rendered correctly as it was additionally emphasized by the golden tint of the early morning sun.
Deutsch: Die obersten Blüten einer Nachtkerze (Oenothera spec.), vermutlich Rotkelchige Nachtkerze (Oenothera glazioviana).
Es gibt in Mitteleuropa zwar zahlreiche (schwer zu bestimmende) Nachtkerzen-Arten, doch mit ihren roten Kelchblättern ist diese ziemlich unverwechselbar.
Fundort: Dortmund, Deutschland. Höhe der ganzen Pflanze ca. 1,50 Meter, im Bild ca. 25 cm. Mehrere Blütenzustände enthalten: von den länglichen Knospen über die volle Blüte bis zum eingefallenen Zustand. The äußerst intensive Gelbfärbung ist stimmig wiedergegeben – hierzu trug die goldgelbe Morgensonne zusätzlich bei.
