Bucephalandra Belindae is an ideal aquatic plant for novice aquarists, featuring thin leaves with curly edges reminiscent of a bush of miniature palm trees. Variegated coloration of light-to-dark green is common, and the species often flowers while submerged or emersed.

CAN BE EMERGENT-GROWN OR SUBMERGED-GROWN

The plant is very slow growing, with new leaves sprouting from long, thin rhizomes. It can be propagated by cutting the rhizome. As it is an epiphyte, do not bury the plant's roots and rhizome in your substrate, as it will rot. Instead, attach to hardscape material or aquarium decor using super glue or thread!

Growing requirements:

  • 65-80 Degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ph 6-8
  • Low to medium light intensity.
  • Slow growth
  • 2"-3"+ tall
  • Co2 not needed.

As I enjoy keeping natural, balanced ecosystems in my tanks, hitchhikers are always a possibility!

Also really small plants, have lots to learn from this plant, it's doing very well!

Huge and healthy

Buce came in looking great, it had a huge rhizome (probably 2-3” long) that I was able to break up into several smaller plants.

I'm saying 4 stars because my order was very delayed and some plants like above looked quite rough, barely hanging on, unlike all my other orders which were perfect.
