Matilija poppy: Shrubby semi-evergreen CA native plant that spreads by rhizomes, with stems up to 8' tall. Fragrant clusters of large white blossoms with golden centers, measuring up to 8" across. Blooms in summer. Full sun. Low water. Deer and rabbit resistant. Heat and drought tolerant once established.
