Stunning Red color for summer bedding and containers. Bushy habit with lots of short stemmed flowers over a long period. Frost hardy. Early sowing is recommended. Height: 15-20cm (6-8in)
Sow spring to late summer in good seed compost. Scatter the seed on the surface of the compost and seal it in a polythene bag or cover it with a piece of glass until after germination which usually takes 14-21 days at 25°C (75F). Do not exclude light. When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant them into 7.5cm (3in) pots and finally 10-12cm (4-5in) pots.
