Taxonomy: Fam. Campanulaceae// Genus: Campanula// Species: Campanula lingulata Waldst. & Kit.

Determined according to the botanical key provided in Flora Europaea (Tutin et al., 1976).

Lifeform: Biennial.

Distribution: Native to Balkan Peninsula and Romania according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens Kew) and The Euro+Med PlantBase (Castroviejo et al., 2010).

Habitat:  Grasslands, pastures, bushland, clearings and edges of forests, from the lowland up to c. 900-1000 m altitude, possibly higher.

Flowering period:  Late spring – summer: MAY, JUN, JUL.
