Moldavian Balm - Dracocephalum moldavica

A beautiful multi-functioning plant in the garden, also known as Dragon's Head. This annual, but self seeding mint relative is a combination ornamental, pollinator and hummingbird attractor, and tea plant. 

Not growing much more than 2ft tall, a small mounding plant with spires of purple/blue flowers and leaves that can be dried and have the scent and taste like a minty version of lemon balm, this beauty is great for any sunny spot with well amended and somewhat moist but well draining soil. Can be left to self seed in the fall or seeds can be harvested and replanted in the late winter. A bumblebee magnet, and a great plant to attract pollinators to a garden, while also serving as a tea plant.
