It usually forms shoals, consisting mostly of females and may mix with other anthias species. Husbandry: Dispar Anthias is generally not tolerant of other members of their own species. It can be kept in groups of 6 or more females to prevent excessive hierarchical aggression, which is common with Pseudanthias species. This Anthias species thrives in a shallow-water reef tank.
