Description

DUE TO SHIPPING SENSITIVITY WE ARE NOT OFFERING OUR LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE ON THIS SPECIES!

Neolamprologus kungweensis is a rare species of cichlid from Lake Tanganyika. They are notable for their gold belly patches and bold black-and-white eyespots on the dorsal fin. These spunky fish are quite territorial for their size and do best in a species-only colony. If you are to mix them with other fishes, a spacious tank is best, and rock-dwelling Julidochromis or Neolamprologus make the best tankmates. Deep aragonite sand with lots of empty snail shells is all these little fish need to be happy!

These are subadults around 1" long. Too small to sex, sorry!
