Difficulty.

These cuttings are easy to strike. Cuttings are a great option to get yourself an established plant. These can be vigorous, easy-care  growers in ideal conditions.

We offer a 2 pack of cuttings to give you the best chance of success.

These are tropical shrubs and like warmth and humidity. Must be protected from frost, these shrubs prefer temperatures above 15c.

Propagation.

These can be propagated by simply potting into premium potting mix.

Place the cuttings at the edge of a pot where the soil meets the pot and water in, just ensure you have the stem cutting the right way up by comparing it's stem features to the tip cutting.

To ensure humidity during propagation in drier zones, cover the pot/tray with a plastic bag, using a few sticks or a trellis to keep it above the plants.

Care

In ideal conditions, when grown outside, these are vigourous growers. regular pruning will keep them to the shape and size that suits your space. Protect from frost.

Indoors, allow to dry out between watering, they will tolerate quite dry conditions, providing they get a good soaking when they are watered. Don't allow the pot to sit in a tray that stops the soil from drying out. Ensure that this plant has good access to a bright window or morning sun, if grown indoors.

 Habit

These are shrubs and are best grown in part dappled light with some morning sun.

Their beautiful flowers generally appear in late Winter through September and October.

Can grow to 3m.
