Native Home: The NEW GUINEA TREE DRAGON is endemic to Papua, Province of Indonesia, Papua New Guinea.

Size: Hypsilurus magnus are one of the largest/longest of the Hypsilurus genus the NEW GUINEA TREE DRAGON  is at least 39" total length and a nose to vent length around 10".

Diet: The main diet for a NEW GUINEA TREE DRAGON is comprised of insects, such as crickets, roaches, hornworms, superworms and small rodents.
