Rudbeckia fulgida var. deamii (Black-Eyed Susan) is a medium-sized variety of black-eyed Susan, which is more disease resistant and slightly narrower than the straight species. Also called Deam's black-eyed Susan, this perennial wildflower grows from two to three feet tall and produces yellow and chocolate brown blooms from late summer into mid-fall.

Easy to grow and propagate, this variety of black-eyed Susan makes for a spectacular addition to any landscape when massed in drifts, and densely branching growth means a higher density of flowers, perfect for cut flower arrangements.
