Original vintage sport event poster for the 2nd Winter Sports Championships / II Wintersport Meisterschaften der Cottbus Frankfurt Potsdam from 20-24 January 1954 in Stutzerbach Thuringen. Dynamic illustration of a slalom skier skiing down the slope at speed between two red flags with the stylised title text topped with snow above and below - Veranstalter: Sektion Wintersport der DDR Bezirksfachausschuss. Wir Sportler grussen den IV. Parteitag der SED / Organiser: Winter sports section of the GDR district technical committee. We athletes greet the IV Party Congress of the Socialist Unity Party of Germany - with the logo of two people running under the German flag in a wreath - Ready To Work And To Defend The Peace / Bereit Zur Arbeit und Zur Verteidigung des Friedens. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, minor staining.
