Bella Hadid and the fashion brand About You have teamed up and launched an exclusive collection that represents both Hadid's personal style and the aesthetic of the 1990s and early aughts — not to mention her lavishing take on pin-straight hair extensions for the campaign's photo shoot.
Hadid began to post behind-the-scenes stills of the #BellaxAboutYou collection on October 13. She posed in front of a cream-colored backdrop and wore brunette extensions that draped below her heels. Her faux mane was styled with an array of Y2K accessories including a thick white headband, a cheetah-print furry hat, and a black oversized bow. Each photo the model has posted since is a collective mood board of fine-woven hair flowing across the screen.
Hairstylist Evanie Frausto even styled the extensions in two pigtail braids that inched toward ankle length. Frausto, by the way, was also the hairstylist behind Hadid's glamourous Met Gala ensemble. For fashion's biggest night, the hairstylist adorned Hadid's hair with micro braids along the hairline, curls beehived above the crown, and curtain bangs to top off the look.

In case you didn't know, the Guinness World Record Book has an entire chapter dedicated to the beings who hold the records for the longest hair imaginable. In the female category, a jolting 18 feet and five inches of hair currently stands as the record-breaking length. Although we might not be sure of the exact length these extensions measure, it seems as if Hadid's hair could join the Guinness world record-breaking league — if it were real, of course.
