Very general info for Americans planning to use a Eurail pass. We just used a three month unlimited Eurail pass all over Europe and found the app was all we needed. The book was not specific enough and far too big to take with you when backpacking. Just download the Eurail pass app! Returned the book.

Obviously, this book is for Eurail, not Inter Rail, and clearly written for Americans. I’m sure the specific train detail is useful but it doesn’t hit the nail on the head for many. We’re going on a major tour of Europe and this book concentrates on remaining in one area, or a ‘host city’, whilst going on daily outings. Simply put, it’s too specific and not as useful as you first think.
