F#*%, That's Action Bronson

Before he was a rapper, Action Bronson went to culinary school and was a full-time chef. Bronson joins us on today's foodcast to talk rap, Albanian food, and being cooked for by Daniel Boulud.

For Action Bronson, lunching with Mario Batali and chowing on canard à la presse cooked by Daniel Boulud is par for the course. But before he was making records and starring in "F*ck, That's Delicious," his food show on Munchies, the Queens-born Albanian rapper was writing ad hoc verses while on the clock working at his father's restaurant.

And although the relationship between hip hop and food is been well-documented (pick up a copy of our March issue—we made a whole chart about it), not many rappers have also attended culinary school, which Bronson discusses with editor in chief Adam Rapoport on today's foodcast. (He also dropped by the Test Kitchen to do a little cooking—stay tuned for more on that!)

Catch the latest episode of Bronson's Munchies show right here (featuring the aforementioned chef Boulud), and watch his adventures when "F*ck, That's Delicious" debuts on Viceland February 29.
