Easily grown (like the other annual Chrysanthemums), of splendid habit and excellent for cutting, it bears large, gorgeous primrose-yellow flowers, each two or three inches across, with a clear chestnut centre. 2½ft (75cm)

    Easy to grow, gorgeous daisies

    What a great addition to the allotment this was! Dead-easy to grow; the only thing this season giving me no fuss or headaches whatsoever. A variety of yellow and cream daisies has been brightening up the garden since the end of June.

    Germination Instructions

    Can be sown year round, for improved results sow indoors. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost, press seeds into soil but do not cover. Ideal temp. 18-21°C. Germination takes 10-18 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed with 30cm spacing. Can be sown directly from April into well prepared soil that has been raked to a fine tilth.

    Growing Instructions

    Pinch out growing tips and first set of leaves in May to create a bushier plant.

    Cultivation Instructions

    Deadhead or cut flowers to extend flowering window. Cut plant to ground level after first frosts. Divide every 3-4 years to maintain plant vigour. Divide as soon a growth begins in spring.
