Everyone now owns multiple devices that take advantage of the Wi-Fi on a regular basis. That's why a router that comes with built-in Wi-Fi 6 is a must these days.

Wi-Fi 6 was created so that households can have a lot of devices connected to Wi-Fi without so much internet congestion. And that upgrade comes with benefits like higher speeds and better features for our phonesnext-gen gaming consoles, and more. Whether streaming the latest shows on Netflix, playing against friends online via a PlayStation 5 or just scrolling on your mobile, everything feels the benefit as a result.

Those benefits aside, it's generally a good idea to change your router every five years or so to be sure you're staying up to date with all the new tech and standards.

Of course, this new tech comes at a bit of a premium. Below, we've rounded up some of the best deals on Wi-Fi 6 routers that you can shop right now, including some discounts on our favorite models of 2024. We'll continue to update this page as deals come and go, so be sure to check back often for the best prices available.

Asus RT-AX1800S: $66
Save $34

If you're looking for the most budget-friendly option that will get you Wi-Fi 6, the Asus RT-AX1800S is the one to go for. It has both MU-MIMO and OFDMA technology to connect with several devices, which is great if you have a lot of smart devices. It can hit a maximum speed of 1,201Mbps in ideal conditions, but realistically, the farther away you get from it, the more drastically the speeds will fall. Still, it's an excellent budget Wi-Fi 6 router.

Linksys Atlas 6 (2-pack): $170
Save $70

This is a unique-looking router that's probably great if you want to squirrel your router away somewhere in a nook instead of giving up a large, flat surface for it. It has the same Internet of Things tech as other routers, allowing it to connect up to 50 different devices, and it has a 3,000Mbps speed. Real-life performance is not going to be that good. That isn't an issue, since most households likely won't have anything faster than 1,000Mbps installed.

Netgear Orbi AX3000 tri-band mesh Wi-Fi system: $350
Save $30

If you like the Netgear Orbi but need a mesh solution, this slightly lower-grade Orbi AX3000 three-pack is perfect for you. It can handle a massive 6,000 feet, and if you're in a place much smaller than that, it will ensure better speeds and connections due to more powerful antennas working in a smaller area. It can only hit a maximum of 3,000Mbps, unlike the 6,000Mbps of the AX6000, but unless you're running better than gigabit internet, you probably won't notice the difference.
