Fabian Cancellara will lead a bunch of sports stars taking part in a pursuit race with Mo Farah for World Cancer Day.
The Solidarity Challenge, hosted on Zwift, will see Farah set off running first followed by sports legends including Rugby World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio, football icon Ada Hegerberg, expert penalty taker Robert Pires and former marathon world record holder Paula Radcliffe before Cancellara chases down the entire field.
Following the race there will be a series of community rides starting at 18:00 around the globe with a few of those big names including Cancellara at 22:00, Yanto Barker and the Le Col Cycling club at 18:00, and the Bahrain Victorious team at 13:00.
Registration to take part in those community rides is free, all you’ll need is a bike, a turbo trainer and Zwift – even if it’s through the free trial.
All money raised from the event will go to the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to help reach their goal of ending cancer inequalities and ensuring everyone has access to life-saving treatment and care.
