Natalie Portman takes the plunge in sexy black dress and strips off to soak in bathtub for flirty Dior perfume ad

She claimed she would never bare all on camera again, but it seems Natalie Portman has changed her mind as she stripped off for a sexy ad for Miss Dior Cherie perfume released today.

Set to the Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin's song Je t'aime... moi non plus, Portman is seen soaking in a tub wearing nothing but her Dior sunglasses.

Directed by Sofia Coppola, the homage to Jean Luc Godard's 1960s movies, also shows the Black Swan actress undressing her onscreen lover and kissing him passionately on a bed.

Wearing a black strapless dress the 31-year-old, smoulders for the camera and poses suggestively with a black bow-tie.

The recently married star was typically modest about her role in the ad, joking that her young male co-star in the ads made her feel 'like an old cougar.'

'He's, like, 20,' she told Women's Wear Daily.

Natalie has always been a proud ambassador of the French fashion house, starring in ads for their make-up range and even wearing a vintage Dior dress to this year's Academy Awards.

However, she was keen to distance herself from their once creative director John Galliano when a video leaked of him making anti-Semitic comments.

In a statement released at the time she said: 'I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments.

'In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way.

'I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful.'

In a recent interview with InStyle, Natalie confessed that she feels as if she never quite succeeds in putting on a perfect public appearance.

'My grandmother believes you don't leave the house unless you have perfect hair and make-up, so she is always at me for not brushing my hair or not putting on enough make-up,' she said.

'I love Sofia Coppola's whole aesthetic. She presents herself in a ladylike fashion and has so much personality,' the mother of one-year old boy Aleph added.

That said, Natalie did admit that she never leaves the house without a lipstick:  'I keep three lipsticks with me, always, one nude, everyday colour, plus a red and a plum for dressing up.'
