Too bulky and pops open to easily
Snails eat in holes but the rest goes to waste when the unit doesn't pop open when dried seaweed inside it expands in the tank water. Will continue to use since I did buy it. Will just have to figure the best way to stop the unit from popping open! Bought it to feed nerites and baby snails that popped up when I bought live plants. Not sure what they are and none seem to survive to get big in this tank. Some have survived from these plants in a smaller tank and are getting larger. Great way to feed your tangs, angels and other herbivores
I have been using these feeders for several years to feed nori to my fish. Much less messy then a clip. It keeps your fish from ripping off large pieces or nori which often end up in your overflow or filters. Best solution I’ve ever found. I have five of them now. I use four in my main display to spread out the feeding stations and keep one for my quarantine system.
