This is a nice old WWII Marvin Neitzel Wool Nurses Cape.It is marked on the tag Marvin Neitzel Corp. Quality Capes and Nurses Apparel , Troy N.Y. USA. Label is Marvin Neitzel based in Troy NY, who made nurses uniforms from 1931 to 2002.
The cape features a metal hook for neck/collar enclosure, and two button front closures with a fabric overlap.
The collar is fold over style collar.
There is a small inside pocket.
The item is in NEAR MINT condition - two moth holes that I’ll be repairing.
This cape is an actual piece of amazing American and New York State history! Great for reenactments and WWII collection.

Any holes have been carefully repaired! When I acquire a wool piece plenty of time and work go into restoring them to as close to original as possible; this includes hand washing, air drying, and mending.

Hand washed in cool water using Eucalan Delicate (Jasmine) & air dried. All my items in my shop have been washed multiple times - special care is taken if mothballs were used in the garment’s storage history. Each item is hand washed and air dried just prior to shipping.
Flaws: there were a couple of small holes, they will all be repaired.
