Mohoric victorious in Deutschland Tour despite Politt challenge

Katusha-Alpecin's Nils Politt came close to victory at the Deutschland tour winning the fourth stage on the final day, but Matej Mohoric won the title.

Politt came close to winning both the second and third stages as he chased victory.

However, victory was claimed in the overall by Mohoric (Bahrain-Merida).

Mohoric finished in second for the stage, giving him a final lead of six seconds.

Quick-Step Floors claimed third place with rider Maximilian Schachmann.

Mohoric's victory marks an impressive run of form for Mohoric, who was victorious in the recent Binckbank Tour.
