“I decided to paint [the wall] pink because while I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the room, I went to dinner with friends and they had just gone to the Human Condition exhibition at a former hospital in L.A.,” Kendall wrote on her blog last week. Kenny’s friends reported that one room was painted a very specific shade of pink—called Baker-Miller—because it's "the only color scientifically proven to calm you and suppress your appetite," she said. "I was like, ‘I need this color in my house.’ ” Since committing to the bold shade, Kendall reports she’s “loving it.”

Not sold? Here's a bit of research about the scientific effects of Baker-Miller pink, and also here. Still, it's probably a wise idea to take this all with a grain of salt—and decide for yourself how seriously you take health tips from celebrities.
