We've been big fans of Olivia Palermo's high street stylings for quite some time and this recent look - a mixture of Zara, Mango and Macy's pieces on shelves now - knocks it out of the park once again. Who knew a velvet burnout dress, sequin handbag and metallic loafers could look so chic and wearable?!
Olivia attended the launch of Giambattista for Macy's collection in this high/low look (the jacket is Armani and the jewelry is vintage) and I for one, am bookmarking it for my own upcoming events and professional-but-festive celebrations. The outfit is at once snazzy and low-key, sexy and tasteful. Agree?
Remarkably, the thee high street pieces in this look are under $100 and on shelves now. The Giambattista Valli for Macy's velvet burnout dress ($99) is your updated party-hopping LBD, the bright silver Zara flats ($99) are a quick 'n' easy way to jazz up jeans or skirts and the sequin handbag by Mango ($65) would certainly make a fine alternative to that ubiquitous sparkly tank - you know, should you need a breather.
