Basel Fasnacht and Pizza🎊

Join one of the largest carnivals in Switzerland, which has been added to the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage list. We will meet on the second day (Tuesday), follow the Sternmarsch from Messeplatz, watch the lanterns exhibition and join different concerts around the city. We will finish the evening with pizza sponsored by IAESTE.

plan:
– 18:01 meeting at SBB, welcome drink, taking the tram to Messeplatz,
– 18:30-19:00 start of Sternmarch, going towards Münsterplatz,
– 19:00-20:30 visiting the lantern exhibition at Münsterplatz and enjoying the concerts around,
– 20:30 meeting at Jakops Pizza to have nice dinner and play pool.

Participation fee: 5CHF

Included in participation fee:
– welcome drink,
– pizza.

Not included in participation fee:
– transport to and from Basel,
– transport to Messeplatz,
– drinks at Jakops Pizza.

Registration will open on Friday 24th of February at 10:00AM.

The number of people already registered for this event is 20. The maximum number of participants allowed for this event is 15 (plus Ola, Nihed organizers and helpers) and the registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to prioritise IAESTE Switzerland affiliates during the first 48 hours of registration. If your registration is not among the first 15, it will be put on the waiting list.
