Today is Monday, and Malaika Arora is back with her weekly Instagram series to inspire you to get back on the grind. There is nothing better than starting a new week with a dose of fitness inspiration, and Malaika's new post is doing just that for us.

MALAIKA ARORA'S MOVE OF THE WEEK

For her move of the week, Malaika chose a yoga pose called Dhanurasana or Bow pose, which is a back-bending asana. Wearing a pastel pink and grey sports bra and tights, Malaika shared a picture of herself nailing the pose. The perfect Monday motivation!

She shared the picture with the caption, "It feels so good to rebounce every Monday with that one asana, the practice of Yoga that keeps us all connected. It is through #MalaikasMoveOfTheWeek that just gives me the right start ahead. Today's Pose is Dhanurasana (sic)."

The star also shared the benefits of the asana with her followers. "This pose is excellent for maintaining a good posture as it stretches the front as well as your back muscles. Avoid this pose if you have severe back or neck injury (sic)," she wrote.

Sharing the steps to do the post correctly, Malaika explained the process and wrote, "Here's how to do it - Lie down on your stomach with legs and hips apart. Hands beside the thighs. Inhale and bend both your knees from the back. Exhale, grab your ankles with both your hands. Inhale, lift your ankles up to the ceiling and lift your shoulder and chest up, look up. Maintain the balance on lower belly. Hold for 10 to 15 seconds and release the posture (sic)."

Malaika has been sharing yoga poses with her followers in the weekly series to inspire them to practice yoga regularly and stay healthy.

Malaika Arora, who is a fitness enthusiast, is a well-known Indian actress, dancer, model, VJ and television personality. She was last seen in the dance reality show India's Best Dancer. Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor also appeared on the show as judges.
