Jerry Rossi who has Lou Gehrig's disease, had a long-time dream come true when three Milwaukee Bucks players visited him Thursday. Paul Mokeski (second from left) and Mike Dunleavy (right) gathered with Bucks owner Herb Kohl, at Rossi's bedside at St. Mary's Hospital. Kevin Gravey, another player, also visited. The visit was prompted by a Milwaukee Journal article in which Rossi expressed his affection for the Bucks. The Bucks gave Rossi an autographed basketball.

Wisconsin Senator Herb Kohl watches a DVD explaining the new Shotspotter technology used by the Milwaukee Police Department at the District Three Communications center. Deputy Inspector Mary Hoerig (right) and MPD audiovisual specialist Jon Riemann were on hand to provide details. Sen. Kohl was able to secure $550,000 in federal funding for the new technology.
