Mark Allen Bodiford

Mark Allen Bodiford, 59, of Panama City Beach, passed away February 5, 2016, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Mark was born in Winder, GA, and lived in Bay County for the last 12 years. He was a Master Captain for Edison Chouest Offshore, LLC. Mark also had worked as a commercial offshore diver. Mark was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and loved his family very much. He also enjoyed cooking, fishing, riding motorcycles, rooting for his Georgia Bulldogs and his dogs Maya, Bear and Zeke.

Survivors include his wife of almost 23 years, Ruth Ramirez Bodiford; daughters, Joselin Ramirez and Elizabeth Bodiford, both of Panama City Beach; his sisters, Martha Cokonouger (Terry) of Elberta, AL and Mary Cockerham (Mike) of Crawfordville, FL; his beloved grandchildren, Ariana Agosto and Kylen Allen Williams; and several  nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:00 PM Friday, February 12, 2016, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until service time at 3:00.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mark's name may be made to Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue, 1255 Lee Road,  Bonifay, FL 32425.
