This retrofit kit solved a major problem for us. We have many 8ft fluorescent fixtures that we needed to re-lamp with 4ft LED bulbs. 8ft LED bulbs are not acceptable for this application because there are no 8ft LED bulbs on the market with the color quality required for this application (a photography gallery). This kit allows us to put four 4ft LED bulbs in a two-bulb 8ft fixture. The fact that the kit is also pre-wired simplifies the installation.
