Chalcides ocellatus (Forskal, 1775)

Lizard with small pointed head and thick neck, a rather stout body with short legs, tail about half or less than the length of the body. Scales are smooth and glossy usually grey or light brown with numerous black spots with white centres. Total length 15-30 cm
