The Ivorian rider was coronated at the end of the 9th stage run this Sunday between Adzopé and Abidjan. A 116km long stage was won by the Burkinabe Salfo Bikienga in 2h 56'49 seconds ahead of his compatriot Abdul Aziz Nikiéma . The Ivorian Bassirou Konte completed the podium of the last stage.
The Cycling Tour of Côte d'Ivoire had been interrupted since 1998 due to the socio-political crisis that has rocked the country.
