The Arcadia Reptile 8w 12"/30cm ProT5 fitting is used and loved by thousands of keepers all over the globe, it is sleek, stylish, robust, easy to use and allows easy linking of Pro T5 Kits and JungleDawn LED Bars. ShadeDweller ProT5 Kit is a sleek, attractive, highly versatile, and dedicated UVB lighting kit with the needs of modern reptile keeping at heart. It's the complete Lighting Kit for Crepuscular species. ShadeDweller ProT5 is equipped with a highly functional but removable curved reflector that ensures a UV rich basking area directly beneath the unit. Includes: ShadeDweller Arboreal 2.4% or the 7% lamp, Fittings kit - to allow the kit to be fitted to a wooden vivarium, Power Cable - Link Cable to connect up to 10 other Pro T5 Kits and/or JungleDawn-LED Bars. Which lamp should I choose? Choosing the correct ShadeDweller will allow you to provide the correct provision of UVB to species such as (but not limited to): Leopard Geckos, Day Geckos, Amphibians, Inverts, Hatchling Snakes. The ShadeDweller 7% UVB has been designed around the needs of crepuscular species such as Leopard Geckos. The fixture is intended to be placed at a distance of 10-12 inches (25-30 cm) from the basking spot. This positioning allows the animal to obtain essential UV energy in a safe and effective manner. However, for those who keep these species in smaller or more shallow enclosures where the optimal distance for the ShadeDweller 7% UV-B is not achievable or keep crepuscular Arboreal species and choose to decorate the top of the enclosure, the ShadeDweller-Arboreal 2.4% fitting becomes a better choice. The effectiveness of this fixture depends on factors such as the distance to the basking area, the species' climbing ability, and the requirement of a smaller area of UV energy. ShadeDweller UV Lamps have a 12 month lamp lifespan.

Easily fix inside of a vivarium, rest upon a wire meshed glassed terrarium, hang above an enclosure or hang within (where safe to do so). Then simply change the lamp once a year.
