Introducing The Arcadia Reptile Solar Basking Infrared Lamp 50 Watts. The lamps are ideal for heating a vivarium during the day and evening helping to maintain the right heat helps to ensure good digestion and organ function for your reptile. Reptiles are cold blooded (ecothermic) and rely upon an external source of heat, this is why when housing your reptile it's done correctly to ensure they have enough heat but also not too much. Can be used with a solar basking floodlight and solar basking spotlamp for intensive heat spots. This is a great source of heat for ecothermic species. The Infrared lamp has a low visible light with high heat and emits no UV-B or UV-A just Infrared and uses standard E27 fittings. They recommend that you use natural slate under the heat source as this will store the heat in a natural way during the day and then release this energy back during the evening. Use with a thermostat.
