Silene schafta

A mat forming evergreen perennial valuable in a rock garden planting scheme as it flowers late on in the season. It has purplish pink flowers about 2cm big with reddish tubular calyces. It grows to a height and spread of 50cm. Grow in full sun or light shade in neutral to slightly alkaline well drained soil.
