ECHIDNA RHODOCHILUS identification

How come some fish sold as white cheek moray resemble a mud moray (gymnothorax tile i believe).
I bought a sp. Tile but received sp. RHODOCHILUS since the company had failed to list the sp . Tile out of stock.

Online there seems to be two very different distinct colorations that appear to be almost completely different species.

Anyone have any clarification on if its two species being sold as one?

Here is the ECHIDNA RHODOCHILUS which is a perfect repersention of what i received. The vendor sells sp. Tile for $20 less si i doubt theyre the same species
