Cristiano Ronaldo Admits He Can Be "A Little Bit Boring" As He Delivers Acceptance Speech After Winning Three Prizes At Globe Soccer Awards
Cristiano Ronaldo won multiple prizes at Friday's Globe Soccer Awards before admitting in his acceptance speech that he can be "a little bit boring".
Al Nassr striker Ronaldo collected the Best Middle East Player award, beating fellow nominees Riyad Mahrez and Mohamed El Shenawy.
The 38-year-old also won the Maradona Award for being the world's top scorer in 2023 with 54 goals in 59 games for Al Nassr and Portugal.
He was beaten by Erling Haaland to the Best Men's Player award but Ronaldo still made it a hat-trick of gongs by picking up the Fans' Favourite Player of the Year award.

Ronaldo appeared to be slightly underwhelmed when his name was called and he was revealed to be the winner of the Best Middle East Player award.
He certainly failed to match the enthusiasm of the on-stage presenter, who gave him a cringeworthy introduction.
She said: "Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards' Best Middle East Player... I think the roof is about to go off... is none other than... Cristiano Ronaldo."
There was then a solid round of applause, but the roof stayed firmly on. Meanwhile, Ronaldo - who was sat next to partner Georgina Rodriguez - was unmoved.

The camera awkwardly lingered on Ronaldo, who did not smile, before a highlights reel of his goals came onto the giant screen.
Once on stage, Ronaldo said: "I did an amazing season. I have to say thank you to my teammates and my coaches from Al Nassr and the Portugal national team."
Ronaldo finally cracked into a big grin as he added: "I never won this trophy... the Best Middle East Player... and Maradona as well. So I will put them with passion in my museum because they are two special ones.
"I am so proud. I have to say thank you to my wife and my kids, they deal with me every day. Sometimes I know I'm a little bit boring but it is my job to be consistent every time.
"Thank you to Globe Soccer for this amazing award."
