This document describes the Supta Padangusthasana (Reclining Hand to Big Toe Pose) yoga pose. It involves lying on the back and grabbing the big toe of one foot while stretching that leg up towards the head. Hold for 30 seconds while breathing easily, then lower and repeat on the other side. This pose benefits the legs by proper development, helps those with sciatica or leg paralysis, improves blood circulation to the legs and hips, removes stiffness in the hips, and prevents hernias.
