Koper - In the morning of 9th April 2014, the first ship of this year’s cruise season arrived to the Port of Koper. It is 220-metre long Costa Classica by the Italian cruise line Costa Crociere considered one of the best European operators in this field. It has aboard about 1,500 passengers on a ten-day journey in the Mediterranean and Adriatic. Due to the fact that it is the first arrival of this white beauty to the Port of Koper, it was welcomed by the company’s Management Board President Mr Gašpar Gašpar Mišič and Bojan Babič, the Head of Passenger Terminal. After stopping in Koper, Costa Classica will take off to Venice and continue its journey to Marseille, France. Based on information available thus far, 48 cruise ships with about 60,000 visitors will be hosted by Passenger Terminal this year. The same as last year with a total of thirteen arrivals, our most frequent guest will be Thomson Majesty. Most arrivals are anticipated in September, June and October whilst the least in November and August.
