Eating grey squirrel meat is good for the environment and is nothing to be ashamed of, according to food experts.

Last week Russian state media said that British people were having to eat squirrels because there was little else in the shops.

“Bear in mind there is a food shortage,” Olga Skabeyeva, a talk show host, said. “In the once great Britain it was revealed today that some restaurants will be serving squirrels. In view of the fact that there are plenty of animals in the park, so why not eat them? But they’re not stepping back from the decision to help Zelensky by supplying weapons. They will eat squirrels, but supply howitzers.”
