Upavistha Konasana is a type of asana that works on the muscles of your hips, legs and back. To perform this asana, sit on the floor and stretch your legs wide apart and keep your toes pointed upwards towards the ceiling. Then keep your hands on the floor infront of your legs and inhale. Then slowly stretch your hands in the forward direction. Then stretch your body downwards in the forward direction. Make sure to keep your back straight. Hold on this position for a while and then begin to return back to your relaxed position while exhaling.
