UCI Continental Circuits: No changes at the top

The leaders of the UCI Europe Tour, UCI America Tour and UCI Asia Tour all retained their places at the head of the rankings last month. No race was run in Africa and in Oceania.

Belgium's Edward Theuns maintains a huge lead in the individual ranking, with a stage win in the Four Days of Dunkirk bringing his tally to 564 points. Slovenia's Marko Kump (Adria Mobil) stays in second with 344 points. Kump's compatriot and teammate Primoz Roglic rose to third place on 337 points.

In the team ranking, the Ukrainian Kolss BDC Team took over at the top (1,100 points), relegating Belgian team Topsport Vlaanderen - Baloise (1,051 points) and French outfit Bretagne Séché Environnement (992 points) to second and third spots. Belgium, with 2,130 points, stays ahead of France (1,942.5 points) and Italy (1,756 points) in the nation ranking.

The Pan-American champion from Ecuador, Bayron Guama de La Cruz (Team Ecuador), still leads the way with 192 points. He is followed by Argentinian Daniel Diaz (Funvic Sao José Dos Campos) in second place on 158 points. Diaz won the hotly-contested Tour de San Luis in January. Latvia's Toms Skujins (Hincapie Racing Team) is mounting a serious challenge and currently lies in third on 150 points. In the team ranking, Funvic Sao José Dos Campos leads with 337 points although the US outfit Optum P/B Kelly Benefit Strategies had a great month and now lie second on 308 points. Hincapie Racing Team slipped from second to third on 228 points. Colombia (724 points), Argentina (652 points) and Venezuela (640 points) fill the podium places in the nation ranking.

Mirsamad Pourseyedigolakhour (Tabriz Petrochemical Team), who completed an impressive triple by winning the Tour of Iran, Tour of Taiwan and Tour of Japan, is the UCI Asia Tour leader on 372 points. Veteran Iranian rider Hossein Askari (aged 40) of the Pishgaman Giant Team lies second on 301 points. New Zealand's Patrick Bevin (Avanti Racing Team) occupies third place on the provisional podium with 198 points. The Pishgaman Giant Team (678 points) leads Tabriz Petrochemical Team (601 points) and Adria Mobil (383 points) in the team ranking.
