This Sunday, the first road race of the year on the course used for the Perfs Pedal Road Race for just over 11 years (with different finishes within those years). Sunday’s race has many a star rider and former winners too of that classic we’ll all miss, the Perfs Pedal Road Race.

STARTLIST: This Sunday, the first road race of the year on the course used for the Perfs Pedal Road Race for just over 11 years (with different finishes within those years). Sunday’s race has many a star rider and former winners too of that classic we’ll all miss, the Perfs Pedal Road Race.
Alex Dowsett (Grand Tour Stage winner), Ed Clancy (multiple Gold medal Olympics winner), Alex Richardson (twice winner of the Monument the Lincoln GP), Alex Paton and Jacob Vaughan winners of the Perfs Pedal race as was Alex Dowsett. Thanks John for the startsheet.

WHEN: Sunday 11th February 2024, 11:00AM
Event Headquarters: South Downs College, College Road, Widley, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO7 8AA

THE COURSE
– The race is NEUTRALISED from the start at Southdowns College.
– Head South along College Lane for 0.9 miles.
– Turn Right on to the B2177 (Portsdown Hill Road) heading West for 2 miles.
– At the roundabout take the 3rd exit (B2177) heading Northwest for 1.7 miles. The race will be DENEUTRALISED at this point.
– At the roundabout take the 2nd exit heading Northwest for 1.6 miles.
– Turn Left on to South Boarhunt Road for 1.7 miles.
– Turn Left on to Swivelton Lane for 0.6 miles.
– Turn Left on to Portsdown Hill Road/James Callaghan Drive for 2.8 miles.
– At the roundabout take the first exit on to B2177. This completed 1 full lap of the course.
– The race consists of 5 full laps of the course.
– After the 5th lap has been completed, take the first exit at the roundabout at the end of Portsdown Hill Road/James Callaghan.
– Head northwest along the B2177 to the roundabout.
– Take the first exit at the roundabout on to Crooked Walk Lane.
– The finish line will be after 0.8 miles
– All junctions will be marshalled by AMS (accredited marshal scheme) and red flag marshals from either RCR or CCR.
