Today, Gucci presented its fall 2020 collection in Milan. Designer Alessandro Michele showcased looks that were more eccentric than ever: think harnesses worn over prairie dresses, and suiting done in granny-chic wallpaper prints. As usual, the show’s front row was filled with the Italian label’s eclectic mix of celebrity fans, including stars such as Yara Shahidi, Sinead Burke, Christine and the Queens, and more. That’s all exciting and grand, sure—cue the paparazzi!—but there was one particular duo who stole the spotlight and had bystanders seeing double.

French singer Lou Doillon attended the show with her 17-year-old son, Marlowe Jack Tiger Mitchell—and they adorably matched their outfits for the occasion. The mother and son both wore a gray double-breasted blazer, a silky blue shirt with oversized, ’70s-inspired lapels, and yellow high-waisted trousers. (Don’t forget the sleek boots and dainty necklaces, either.) In most cases, a teenage son would rather be caught dead than match outfits with their mother; but with a look this cool, at an event this cool, and with a mom this cool, it’s easy to see why Marlowe succumbed to the twinning photo op.

The real crime, however? Upon closer inspection, it seems Marlowe was placed in the second row while Lou sat front and center. Their combined fashion moment clearly deserved its very own side-by-side seat.
