Panama City, Panama – 3 Bodies, 1 Survivor Found in Plane Crash Carrying U.S. Citizens

    Panama City, Panama – The bodies of a California man, his 13-year-old daughter and the Panamanian pilot of a plane that crashed over the weekend [As reported by VIN News] were found today in Panama’s mountains, officials said. A 12-year-old American girl survived.

    Businessman Michael Klein, 37, his daughter Talia and pilot Edwin Lasso were found dead, Panama’s civil protection agency said in a statement.

    Francesca Lewis, a friend of Talia’s who was traveling with the Kleins, survived the crash and was hospitalized with hypothermia and multiple traumas, it said. She has been transferred to hospital and reportedly in a stable condition

    According to the Associated Press that some hikers saw it across the mountain” and reported it.

    Mr Klein, who is Jewish was the chief executive officer of Pacificore LLC, a Santa Barbara-based company that manages several hedge funds. he made headlines in 2001 as CEO of eGroups that was acquired by Yahoo for $450 Million.
