I love JFG coffee we have been drinking it for 50 years.  JFG coffee has been around and a staple in our household for all these years.   We have tried other brands of coffee and they just don't compare.  The taste is smooth and mild.  No bitter taste a all. 
I would tell anyone how good JFG coffee is.  We drink it black because it is so good and smooth. 
 I do not drink coffee outside my home without using cream to cover the taste and if I am in someones home I use cream because the taste is usually bad.
JFG best coffee ever.  You really need to try JFG if you never have.

JFG Coffee

I have been spending way too much on single serve coffee pods.  I used to use a premium brand Columbian ground coffee.  I tried it again and after using the single serve this coffee seemed to have a skunk(y) taste.  I remembered my mother used to love JFG Hotel Blend Coffee.  I tried to find it with no success so I ordered the Special Blend to try.  I am very pleased, great taste and aroma.

1st time trying this brand. i like medium/dark roast and wanted to try some different coffee than my usual. The price was great and so is the flavor. Will definitely buy this again!

smooth rich taste

Best coffee you can buy........make it as strong as you want and it is never bitter.  Try one can and you will be hooked.

No substitutions for JFG coffee. When we are out and have to buy something off the shelf, it's not the same. Not even name brands.  I order form Walmart in bulk.. 12 or more at a time!  Stockpile it !  Quality taste, for pennies..

Found this in Tennessee years ago at a restaurant. Been buying it from them and picking up every time we are there. Love it.

Best Coffee

I have preferred JFG Special blend coffee for forty years now. I continue to experiment with other coffees because I am a coffee lover and come from a long line of coffee lovers. But, the rich coffee flavor of JFG Special blend is the best I have tried of ready ground coffees. Sure you can go to a local roaster and buy a very costly fresh roasted medium dark and grind at brewing and maybe have a superior cup but not by much and at triple the cost.

Wonderful, flavorful ground coffee

I was looking for a nice bold strong coffee. JFG used to make a Special blend that was a Restaurant Blend that had a good strong smooth taste and that was what I thought I was getting, Denny's Restaurant used this coffee. I will have to try to find the flavor that JFG now makes to be the same as the old restaurant  or special blend.  Other than that, if you like a smooth mild coffee, then this is for you.

Great brand but too smooth and mild for me

I bought this on sale, and can not believe how this can pass for coffee.  It looks like ground coffee, but that is where any similarity to fresh coffee ends.  I was surprised and  unimpressed when I first opened the canister and noticed hardly any coffee fragrance, but didn't put 2 and 2 together until I actually TASTED it.  There isn't any. It's just dark brown water. The next pot I doubled the amount of scoops of coffee grounds and it helped - but still tasted weak.  Got quite the caffeine jolt though - but that's not why I drink coffee. Avoid this brand if you want your coffee to have any taste or flavor. It's WEAK!!
