Red Snapper Season at Captain Anderson's Marina

The boats are heading out and they are looking for red snapper.

Red snapper season in federal waters is going on from June 1st through the 9th. If you're a private angler you get an extra day, the 10th.

Private charter captains who dock at Capt. Anderson's Marina say there are plenty of other recreational snapper in the sea year round, including vermilion snapper and black snapper.

When you're done fishing, you can take your catch to the fish market at the marina, where they will clean and package your fish.
